Quobis, the leader in real-time communication apps for the web, today announced it will be exhibiting at Mobile World Congress 2018, to be held on February 26 to March 1, 2018 in Barcelona (Spain).
Quobis’ booth (CS60, booth #2) at the Spanish Pavilion will showcase the new portfolio of Sippo for the telco and enterprise market. While the enterprise portfolio will be disclosed at the ITexpo event in Fort Lauderdale two weeks before the MWC, the telco portfolio will have its premiere in Barcelona.
The new portfolio includes the evolution of Sippo WAC is an standard-based network element that hides the complexity behind the real field deployments of the technology, in terms of fragmentation of browsers, devices (including smartphone support), gateways or existing elements in the core network, while offers an API to enable telcos to expose network capacities and help third parties to develop new applications.
An mobile application for telcos will be announced at the show, trying to defeat the challenge that VoLTE, VoWifi or OTT based services means for telcos and carriers.

Quobis’ booth will host different two state-of-the-art demos of WebRTC, from customer care enabling tools for the enterprise market to new mobile applications for telcos.
- LEVERAGING CUSTOMER CARE IN ENTERPRISES: Focused on an enterprise, we’ll show how Sippo can leverage customer care with some examples of processes digitalised. Sippo help to defeat the challenge of digital transformation enabling different use cases like: remote video evaluation, customer ID verification, assistance to navigate, co-browsing and others.
- TELCO-FOCUSED OTT SERVICES Thinking on residential users of telcos, we’ll be showcasing how Sippo can complement the OTT/VoLTE strategy of telcos and carriers, providing multi-device support and UI flexibility, while the telco can take advantage of the network capacities and interconnectivity with the IMS/telco core.
