Esta elecci\u00f3n no es casual: Random Forest es conocido por su robustez, eficacia y, muy importante, su interpretabilidad, ofreciendo un equilibrio perfecto entre rendimiento y simplicidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-como-funciona-un-algoritmo-random-forest\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona un algoritmo \u00abrandom forest\u00bb?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Un Random Forest es un m\u00e9todo de \u00ab<strong>aprendizaje en conjunto<\/strong>\u00ab. En lugar de depender de un \u00fanico modelo, combina las predicciones de muchos \u00e1rboles de decisi\u00f3n para llegar a un resultado final m\u00e1s preciso y estable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un \u00e1rbol de decisi\u00f3n es un modelo simple que toma decisiones bas\u00e1ndose en una serie de preguntas sobre los datos de entrada. Por ejemplo, un \u00e1rbol podr\u00eda aprender la siguiente regla: \u00abSi la llamada es internacional (pregunta 1) Y el c\u00f3dec es PCMU (pregunta 2), la probabilidad de fallo es del 80%\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El problema es que un solo \u00e1rbol puede \u00ab<strong>sobreajustarse<\/strong>\u00bb a los datos de entrenamiento y no generalizar bien a nuevas situaciones. Aqu\u00ed es donde brilla Random Forest. El algoritmo construye cientos o miles de \u00e1rboles de decisi\u00f3n, pero con dos trucos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cada \u00e1rbol se entrena con una muestra aleatoria de los datos de entrenamiento (t\u00e9cnica de bagging).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En cada nodo del \u00e1rbol, solo se considera un subconjunto aleatorio de las variables (como c\u00f3dec, hora, destino) para decidir la siguiente pregunta.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto asegura que cada \u00e1rbol sea ligeramente diferente y est\u00e9 especializado en distintos patrones de los datos. Para hacer una predicci\u00f3n, como decidir si una ruta es \u00abbuena\u00bb o \u00abmala\u00bb, el Random Forest simplemente recoge el \u00abvoto\u00bb de todos los \u00e1rboles y elige la opci\u00f3n mayoritaria.
